A spooky, cheesy Jack-O-Lantern spread perfect for Halloween parties, featuring sharp cheddar, cream cheese, and black olives for eyes and mouth, delicious at room temperature.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup Russian-style dressing
  • 3 Tbsp chopped black olives

Instructions

  1. Line an 8-inch round cake pan with plastic wrap; lightly oil it.
  2. Process shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, and Russian-style dressing in a food processor until well blended.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture into the prepared pan.
  4. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours or until firm.
  5. Use the ends of the plastic wrap to remove the cheese from the pan and invert onto a serving plate.
  6. Smooth the top and sides of the cheese with a small metal spatula.
  7. Use a toothpick to draw the outline of eyes, nose, and mouth of the Jack-O-Lantern.
  8. Fill in the outlines with black olives.
  9. Serve at room temperature.
