Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. soft margarine
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 small pkg. dates, chopped into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Put chopped dates in 1/4 cup of flour to prevent sticking; chopped, square dates work well.
