Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 cans tomatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 packages frozen mixed vegetables
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Put ground beef in a 6-quart pan and start cooking over medium heat.
  2. Add water until the pan is half full and bring to a simmer.
  3. Add chopped onion, canned tomatoes, frozen mixed vegetables, and salt to taste.
  4. Reduce heat and let the soup simmer for 6 hours, adding more water if the pan is not full.
