Instructions
- Dissolve the lemon gelatin in boiling water.
- Add cold water to the gelatin mixture.
- Reserve 1 1/2 cups of the gelatin mixture and chill the remainder until thickened.
- Pour the thickened gelatin into 6 molds and arrange the apple slices in the gelatin.
- Chill until set but not firm.
- Beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Blend in the reserved gelatin.
- Fold in the chopped apples and chopped nuts.
- Chill until slightly thickened.
- Spoon the mixture into the molds and chill at least 4 hours before serving.
