Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 3/4 cup rice water
  • 1 box strawberry Jell-O
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 small can pineapple

Instructions

  1. Bring rice and water to a boil.
  2. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Drain the rice and save the rice water.
  4. Dissolve the strawberry Jell-O and sugar in the rice water.
  5. Add the cooked rice and pineapple to the mixture.
  6. Pour in Cool Whip and stir until well combined.
  7. Let the salad set in the refrigerator before serving.
