Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 3 medium onions, diced
  • 3 lb. ground beef
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 8 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 2 (20 oz.) cans kidney beans
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder

Instructions

  1. Pour oil into
  2. 14-inch Dutch oven and heat.
  3. Add onions and cook
  4. until
  5. clear.
  6. Add
  7. meat,
  8. bell
  9. pepper and celery; thoroughly brown. When
  10. done
  11. skim or drain off grease.
  12. Add tomato sauce
  13. and
  14. stir well.
  15. Cook for 15 minutes.
  16. Add beans and chili powder and allow to simmer for 45 minutes.
