Ingredients

  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. salad oil

Instructions

  1. Bake either in an 8 x 8-inch pan or in muffin tin at 375° for 20 minutes.
