A vibrant, fresh salsa bursting with smoky tomatoes, zesty cilantro, and spicy jalapenos, perfect for parties, chips, or as a flavorful topping for various dishes.

Ingredients

  • 2 large cans whole peeled tomatoes with juice
  • 2 bunches green onions
  • 10 to 15 sprigs fresh cilantro
  • 1 small can diced jalapenos
  • 1 small can diced chiles
  • minced fresh garlic to taste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • cumin to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop all ingredients by hand.
  2. If the salsa is too hot with jalapenos, use 2 cans of chopped chiles instead.
  3. If it's still too hot, add a little finely shaved unsweetened chocolate.
  4. Mix all ingredients well.
  5. Be careful not to use too much cilantro or cumin, as they can overwhelm the overall taste.
  6. Refrigerate to allow flavors to blend.
