Ingredients

  • 1/2 pkg lentils
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 big onion
  • 1 big cup raw rice

Instructions

  1. Cook lentils in water with salt and pepper for 20 to 25 minutes.
  2. Saute chopped onion in oleo until brown.
  3. Add the cooked onion to the lentils.
  4. Add raw rice to the mixture.
  5. Add more water if needed to cover ingredients.
  6. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat to low and simmer until the rice is cooked and tender.
