Delightful coconut balls coated in smooth chocolate, offering a rich, sweet treat perfect for parties or satisfying a sweet tooth craving with tropical flavors.

Ingredients

  • 14 oz. coconut
  • 1 c. light Karo syrup
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1/2 block paraffin wax

Instructions

  1. Mix coconut and Karo syrup together.
  2. Blend well.
  3. Let the mixture set in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  4. Form the mixture into balls and place them on waxed paper.
  5. Refrigerate the balls for at least 1 hour.
  6. Melt semi-sweet chocolate with paraffin wax in the top of a double boiler.
  7. Dip each coconut ball into the melted chocolate using a toothpick.
  8. Allow the chocolate to harden, then refrigerate the coated balls.
