- Mix together uncooked hamburger, water, salt, and uncooked quick oatmeal.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- After chilling, roll the mixture into meatballs.
- Coat all sides of each meatball with flour.
- Brown the meatballs on all sides in a skillet with a small amount of oil.
- Add undiluted cream of chicken soup to the top of the meatballs and simmer for 20 minutes, ensuring the meatballs do not stick to the pan.
- Scoop the soup over the meatballs during simmering to season them well.
