Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. unsalted butter
  • 8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 cake of yeast
  • 2 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Cream the unsalted butter and Philadelphia cream cheese together until smooth.
  2. Soak the cake of yeast in a small amount of milk with a bit of sugar until activated.
  3. Add the soaked yeast mixture to the creamed butter and cheese.
  4. Gradually add the flour and mix thoroughly until the dough is well incorporated.
  5. Refrigerate the dough overnight to allow it to rest and develop flavors.
  6. Next day, roll out the dough to approximately 1/8-inch thickness.
  7. Cut the rolled dough into small squares for baking.
