Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup sweet milk
  • 1 tablespoon white Karo syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine

  3. Bring the mixture to a boil; add browned sugar and continue boiling until it forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
  4. Pour the hot mixture into a mixing bowl with margarine.
  5. Add vanilla and beat until thick enough to spread on a cake.
