Ingredients

  • 2 c. leftover chicken or turkey, cubed
  • 2 c. milk
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 pkg. small mushrooms, cleaned (left whole)
  • 1 small jar diced pimento
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 pkg. frozen peas

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat milk, butter and flour until mixture thickens (boils).
  2. Meanwhile, saute green pepper and mushrooms until tender.
  3. When milk mixture thickens, add chicken or turkey, green pepper, mushrooms, pimento, mushroom soup and peas.
  4. Serve over rice, toast or pastry cup.
