Instructions
- Pour 1/2 cup melted oleo into large baking pan.
- Add popped corn and nuts.
- Combine remaining oleo, sugar, syrup, vanilla and salt in a large pot and boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Continue boiling 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in baking soda.
- Pour over corn mixture.
- Mix lightly.
- Bake at 250° for 1 hour and 30 minutes (STIRRING EVERY 15 MINUTES).
- Makes about 7 quarts.
