Ingredients

  • 1 large pkg. Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 1 c. pecan pieces
  • 1 jar caramel ice cream topping
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 can prepared chocolate frosting

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°.
  2. Press cookie dough into ungreased 9 x 13 pan.
  3. Press 1/2 cup of pecans into dough.
  4. Pour caramel topping over crust.
  5. In medium bowl, combine flour, peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla; stir with fork until well blended and coarsely crumbled.
  6. Sprinkle over caramel topping and press down.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  8. Remove pan from oven and cool 5 minutes. Spread with frosting; sprinkle with 1/2 cup pecans.
  9. Freeze for 30 minutes; cut into bars.
