Kooky Salad
A crunchy, flavorful layered salad combining fresh vegetables, peas, and cheese, topped with mayonnaise and Parmesan. Perfect for potlucks and family gatherings.

Instructions
- Cook the peas for 7 minutes and drain.
- Layer shredded lettuce in an oblong glass pan.
- Add sliced onions, sliced water chestnuts, cooked peas, and chopped celery in layers in the order given.
- Spread with 1/2 pint of real mayonnaise, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight before serving.
