Korean coleslaw features crunchy cabbage, toasted almonds, sunflower seeds, and the savory flavor of Ramen noodles, tossed in a tangy vinegar dressing for a delicious side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 4 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • flavor packet of chicken Ramen noodles
  • 1/2 large head cabbage
  • 1/2 c. sunflower seeds
  • 3/4 c. sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Crumble the uncooked Ramen noodles (including the flavor packet) and add them to the cabbage.
  3. Mix in the sunflower seeds and sliced almonds.
  4. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the sugar, oil, vinegar, and pepper to make the dressing.
  5. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
