Ingredients

  • 3 lb. lamb roast
  • 3/4 cup white wine
  • 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 bay leaf
  • favorite barbecue sauce
  • 3/4 cup water
  • flour

Instructions

  1. Flour the lamb roast and place it in a baking pan with 3/4 cup of water.
  2. Cover the pan and roast in the oven at 500°F for 30 minutes. Remove the roast from the oven.
  3. Add white wine, lemon juice, garlic powder, and bay leaf to the pan.
  4. Cover the pan again and cook at 350°F for 3 hours.
  5. Remove the pan from the oven and debone the roast.
  6. Pour favorite barbecue sauce over the meat in the pan to taste.
  7. Broil the meat in the oven for 5 minutes or less until caramelized.
