Lasagna Soup

Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef ⓘ
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 2 celery ribs, chopped ⓘ
- 1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms ⓘ
- 2 garlic cloves, minced ⓘ
- 2 tsp. Italian seasoning ⓘ
- salt and pepper to taste ⓘ
- 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes ⓘ
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce ⓘ
- 1 (1 lb.) pkg. lasagna noodles ⓘ
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown beef, onion, green pepper, celery, and mushrooms until the beef is no longer pink.
- Add garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, crushed tomatoes, and tomato sauce. Simmer until the mixture thickens.
- Cook lasagna noodles separately and add to the soup before serving.
