Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 celery ribs, chopped
  • 1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (1 lb.) pkg. lasagna noodles

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown beef, onion, green pepper, celery, and mushrooms until the beef is no longer pink.
  2. Add garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, crushed tomatoes, and tomato sauce. Simmer until the mixture thickens.
  3. Cook lasagna noodles separately and add to the soup before serving.
