Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. butter, melted
  • 2/3 c. brown sugar
  • 5 beaten eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavor
  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. grape juice
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 lb. candied cherries
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple
  • 1 lb. mixed fruit
  • 1/3 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix first 5 ingredients together and blend well, then add all other ingredients.
  2. Mix all real good and pour into a greased angel food pan.
  3. Put into a cold oven at 250°.
  4. Bake 2 1/2 hours. Check with toothpick at 2 1/2 hours.
  5. Do not overbake.
