Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider using unsalted butter instead of regular butter. You can also substitute the nuts with seeds if you're looking for a nut-free version. If you want a little extra crunch, try adding crushed pretzels in place of some graham cracker crumbs. Make sure to pack the graham cracker crumbs tightly for a firmer base, similar to what you'd find in Keebler Bars.

Serving Suggestions

These layered cookies are delightful on their own or paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a decadent dessert. They also make a great addition to a dessert platter alongside other sweets like Lite Lemon Cheesecake. For a fun presentation, serve them with fresh fruit or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze the squares in a single layer, separated by parchment paper. To reheat, microwave for about 10-15 seconds until warm, or enjoy them cold for a refreshing treat.
