Layered Dump Cake offers a delicious combination of sweet pineapple, cherry filling, and cake, topped with nuts and butter, perfect for easy, crowd-pleasing dessert gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 21 oz. can cherry, apple or peach pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 3/4 cup margarine

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Spread crushed pineapple (undrained) over the bottom of the pan.
  3. Spread pie filling (cherry, apple, or peach) over the pineapple.
  4. Sprinkle yellow cake mix evenly over the fruits.
  5. Top with chopped nuts.
  6. Cut margarine into small pieces or slices and sprinkle evenly on top.
  7. Do not mix the ingredients.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Bake for 1 hour or until the top is golden brown.
  10. Cut into squares and serve warm or cooled with ice cream or whipped topping.
