Layered Salad(Overnight)

Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce, torn
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts
  • 1 c. green peas, cooked slightly and cooled
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 c. salad dressing
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, crumbled
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped coarse
  • tomato wedges (optional)

Instructions

  1. Hard-boil eggs.
  2. Cook bacon until crisp.
  3. Cook peas and let cool while chopping vegetables.
  4. Mix together sugar, salad dressing and garlic powder.
  5. Layer in a large pan in order of recipe.
