Ingredients

  • 1 large unsliced round bread loaf
  • 3/4 lb shaved turkey
  • 3/4 lb shaved ham
  • 3/4 lb shaved pastrami
  • 1 large tomato
  • 6 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 head lettuce

Instructions

  1. Slice a 3/4-inch layer off the top of the bread loaf.
  2. Hollow out the loaf, leaving a 1/2-inch thick bread shell.
  3. Brush the inside of the loaf and the underside of the lid with salad dressing.
  4. Layer half the shredded lettuce inside the bread shell.
  5. Add half the shaved turkey, then slices of Mozzarella cheese, another layer of turkey, sliced tomatoes, additional turkey, slices of Cheddar cheese, and the remaining shredded lettuce.
  6. Firmly pack down the contents and replace the lid on the loaf.
  7. Cut the sandwich into wedges to serve.
  8. Wrap the unsliced loaf well and refrigerate.
