Ingredients

  • 1 chicken or 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3/4 stick melted oleo
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Boil and debone the chicken, then cube the meat.
  2. Place the cubed chicken in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Mix the cream of chicken soup and water, then pour this mixture over the chicken.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the self-rising flour, milk, and melted oleo.
  5. Pour the flour mixture over the soup layer.
  6. Pour chicken broth over everything.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour until bubbly and golden.
