Ingredients

  • 2 (9 oz.) can sliced peaches
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/3 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Heat the sliced peaches in a saucepan until very hot.
  2. Melt the margarine in a 2-quart casserole dish.
  3. Combine the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt) with 1/3 cup of milk to make a thin batter.
  4. Pour the batter over the melted margarine in the casserole dish.
  5. Pour the hot peaches over the batter.
  6. Bake at 375°F until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
