A comforting and easy-to-make lasagne alternative featuring ziti and ricotta, perfect for weeknights and satisfying for the whole family with creamy, cheesy flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ziti
  • 3 lb. ricotta
  • 2 or 3 eggs
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook ziti as directed, then drain well.
  2. While ziti is cooking, place all the other ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Mix the ricotta, eggs, salt, pepper, and parsley flakes until well combined.
  4. Spread sauce in the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan or glass dish.
  5. Spoon the cooked ziti and ricotta mixture into the pan.
  6. Top with additional sauce.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 35 minutes.
  8. Cover and let stand to set up before serving.
