Ingredients

  • 1 qt. molasses
  • 1 Tbsp. ginger
  • 1 nutmeg, grated
  • 1 c. butter or lard
  • 1 pt. sour cream or buttermilk
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • flour (enough to roll, 3 qt. all-purpose flour)

Instructions

  1. Roll 1/2-inch thick and cut into rectangular shapes.
  2. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
