Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1/4 pound margarine

Instructions

  1. Dump crushed pineapple into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  2. Spread cherry pie filling over the pineapple.
  3. Cut margarine into dry cake mix until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle the cake mix and margarine mixture evenly over the fruit.
  5. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes at 350°F until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm or cooled, optionally with Cool Whip or ice cream.
