- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, prepared lemonade, eggs or liquid egg substitute, and lemon zest if desired.
- Beat on low speed for 1 minute, scraping the bowl often.
- Then, beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Pour the batter into a greased or parchment-lined baking pan.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving.
