Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 can fruit (cherry, apple, peach)

Instructions

  1. Mix milk, flour, baking powder, and sugar well together to make the batter.
  2. Melt 1/2 stick of margarine in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Pour the batter into the melted margarine in the pan.
  4. Add the canned fruit over the batter.
  5. Bake in a 350°F oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
  6. Serve topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
