A refreshing, light salad featuring crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, crunchy cucumber, and green pepper, dressed simply with lemon or vinegar for a tangy, healthy meal or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 large head lettuce
  • 2 or 3 tomatoes
  • 1 small green bell pepper
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • mint (optional)

Instructions

  1. Break the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a salad bowl.
  2. Chop the tomatoes into desired sizes and add to the lettuce.
  3. Chop the green bell pepper and cucumber into pieces of your preference and add to the bowl.
  4. Toss the salad gently to combine all the ingredients.
  5. Dress the salad with lemon juice or vinegar, adding mint if desired.
  6. Serve immediately for a fresh and tangy salad.
