Ingredients

  • 3 bunches green grapes
  • 1 large dried hot pepper pod
  • 1/2 peck grape leaves
  • 8 pounds cucumbers
  • 8 lb. cucumbers, sliced or whole
  • 1/2 peck packed grape leaves

Instructions

  1. Note: This recipe requires a specific container, so make sure you have a 3-gallon stone crock with an open top.
  2. Combine 1 1/2 gallons of water and 1 cup of salt in the crock.
