Ingredients

  • chicken tenders
  • lemons, sliced and pitted
  • vegetable oil
  • chicken broth
  • mayonnaise
  • Italian style bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Coat chicken tenders with mayonnaise.
  2. Dredge chicken in Italian-style bread crumbs.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frypan.
  4. Fry chicken until browned on both sides.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare chicken broth at half strength by diluting with water.
  6. Remove broth from heat.
  7. Ladle two scoops of broth into the frypan with chicken.
  8. Squeeze 4 lemon slices into the pan with the chicken.
  9. Let it cook for 1 minute on the flame.
  10. Transfer the chicken and lemon slices to a roaster pan.
  11. Repeat frying and adding broth/lemon slices until all chicken is cooked.
  12. Cover the tray with foil and bake in a 350°F (180°C) oven for about 40 minutes.
  13. Serve and enjoy!
