Ingredients

  • 3 pkg. shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 8 oz. Cheddar cheese
  • 2/3 cup chopped onions
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 3 cups crushed corn flakes

Instructions

  1. Mix the thawed shredded hash brown potatoes, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded Cheddar cheese, chopped onions, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Pour the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan sprayed with Pam.
  3. Top the casserole with crushed corn flakes and melted oleo (butter).
  4. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
  5. Add additional cheese over the top of the corn flakes and bake just long enough for the cheese to melt.
