- Mix the thawed shredded hash brown potatoes, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded Cheddar cheese, chopped onions, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Pour the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan sprayed with Pam.
- Top the casserole with crushed corn flakes and melted oleo (butter).
- Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
- Add additional cheese over the top of the corn flakes and bake just long enough for the cheese to melt.
