Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 sticks oleo (butter)
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 boxes Durkees brand lemon pie filling
  • 1 small box Dream Whip or 1 large container Cool Whip
  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, oleo (butter), and powdered sugar to form a pie crust dough.
  2. Pat the dough onto a cookie sheet with a slight lip.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes until golden.
  4. Let the crust cool completely.
  5. Spread lemon pie filling evenly over the cooled crust.
  6. Prepare whipped topping according to package instructions and spread over the lemon filling.
  7. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
