Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar; add lemon extract.
  2. Sift together flour and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well.
  3. Roll level teaspoonfuls of dough into balls.
  4. Place on ungreased cookie sheets, 1 inch apart; flatten slightly.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes.
