Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 heaping tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 lemon (juice and rind)
  • 2 egg whites

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg yolks and add sugar.
  2. Grate the lemon rind into the egg yolk and sugar mixture.
  3. Add salt to the flour and stir into the egg yolk mixture alternately with the milk.
