Lemonade Soy Chicken

Tender chicken is glazed with a tangy lemonade and soy sauce marinade, creating a flavorful dish perfect for casual family dinners or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. frozen lemonade, thawed
  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken pieces
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Place chicken pieces, skin side down, in a shallow baking dish; pour the lemonade and soy sauce mixture over the chicken.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F and place the dish on the top rack.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes, then baste the chicken with apricot juice.
  4. Bake for another 10 minutes, then turn over the chicken.
  5. Baste again after 10 more minutes and cook for an additional 10 minutes until cooked through.
