Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb broccoli flowerets
  • 2 cups thinly sliced carrots
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Instructions

  1. In a pan on top of stove, saute broccoli in oil until tender-crisp.
  2. Remove from pan.
  3. Stir in carrots; saute until tender-crisp.
  4. Stir in mushrooms; saute lightly.
  5. Return broccoli to skillet.
  6. Stir in lemon slices.
  7. Combine melted butter and sugar; add to vegetables.
  8. Stir until vegetables are well glazed.
