Ingredients

  • 1 large package red jello
  • 1 small package red jello
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1 pint whole strawberries

Instructions

  1. Place sliced strawberries on the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
  2. Prepare the large package of red jello and pour it over the strawberries.
  3. Refrigerate until the jello is set.
  4. Slice the sponge cake into 1-inch slices and place them on top of the set jello mixture.
  5. Poke holes in the sponge cake.
  6. Prepare the small package of jello and pour it over the sponge cake and jello mixture.
  7. Refrigerate until the entire jello mixture is set.
  8. Top with Cool Whip.
  9. Decorate with whole strawberries.
  10. Serve chilled for a refreshing summer dessert.
