Ingredients

  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. lime jello
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 12 oz. can evaporated milk
  • juice from one lemon
  • graham cracker crust

Instructions

  1. Mix lime jello and boiling water until dissolved.
  2. Cool the mixture and let stand until partially set.
  3. Chill the evaporated milk and whip it stiffly.
  4. Add lemon juice to the whipped evaporated milk and mix well.
  5. Combine the whipped milk with the partially set jello mixture and beat until well blended.
  6. Pour the mixture into a 9x13-inch pan lined with a graham cracker crust.
  7. Chill several hours until set.
  8. Spread with Cool Whip topping and sprinkle with green sugar or graham cracker crumbs for decoration.
