Ingredients

  • 1 large box lime jello
  • 2 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans or walnuts, cut in small pieces
  • 2 cups celery, chopped
  • 2 cups apples, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, put 1/4 cup lime jello and 1/2 cup boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Put in refrigerator.
  2. In another bowl, put the remaining lime jello and 1 cup boiling water; stir until dissolved.
  3. Add 1 1/2 cups cold water to the jello mixture and put in refrigerator until partially set.
  4. Once the jello is partially set, combine with chopped apples, celery, and nuts. Mix well and chill before serving.
