Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb. arm or rump roast
  • meat tenderizer
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle the roast with meat tenderizer and let stand for 1 hour.
  2. Cut the roast into 2-inch chunks.
  3. Place the beef chunks in a large bowl.
  4. Add brown sugar, ginger, soy sauce, oil, garlic, pepper, MSG, and water to the bowl.
  5. Mix well until the meat is coated with the marinade.
  6. Marinate in the refrigerator for 3 hours to overnight.
  7. Grill the beef chunks until done to taste.
