Lisa'S Salsa
Ingredients
- 6 lbs tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped ⓘ
- 2 onions, diced ⓘ
- 2 green peppers, diced ⓘ
- 4 large jalapenos, diced ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon cumin ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons salt ⓘ
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons pickling salt ⓘ
- 1/2 cup white vinegar ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons sugar ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 12 ounces tomato paste ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients into a large kettle. Bring to a boil, boil ten minutes.
- Pour into seven hot sterilized quart jars, add rings and seals.
- Process in boiling water bath for 15 minutes.
