Instructions
- Bring sugar and water to boil.
- Simmer 5 minutes and cool. Then add eggs and mix well.
- Sift together the following and add to mixture:
- flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
- Add walnuts, dates or candied fruit.
- Beat all together.
- Bake 1 hour at 350°.
