Ingredients

  • 1 lb. tender steak
  • 2 c. frozen French fries
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. chili pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut meat into 1/4-inch slices.
  2. Marinate with olive oil, salt, pepper, cumin, chili pepper and garlic for at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat French fries according to package instructions.
  4. Brown meat quickly in frying pan.
  5. Add tomatoes and onion; simmer until onion is tender.
  6. Toss in French fries just before serving.
  7. Serve over hot cooked rice.
