Luscious Choco-Cherry Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c. chopped pecans
  • powdered sugar
  • mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat
  2. oven
  3. to
  4. 350°.
  5. Grease
  6. and
  7. flour
  8. Bundt pan. Combine flour,
  9. sugar,
  10. soda, cinnamon and salt.
  11. Add oil, eggs and vanilla;
  12. mix
  13. well.
  14. Stir in cherry pie filling, chocolate chips and pecans.
  15. Pour into pan and bake for 1 hour. Cool cake in pan for 5 to 10 minutes.
  16. Remove from pan and cool completely. Sift
  17. powdered
  18. sugar
  19. on
  20. top and garnish top of cake and plate with mint leaves.
