- Line the bottom and sides of a 9-inch round cake pan with aluminum foil.
- Generously butter the foil-lined pan.
- Cook the macadamia nuts, butter, sugar, and corn syrup in a heavy skillet over low heat, stirring until the butter melts and the sugar dissolves.
- Increase the heat and boil until the mixture turns golden brown and begins to mass together, stirring constantly (about 5 minutes).
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate morsels over the top, letting them melt and spreading evenly.
- Cool for 15 minutes.
- Remove from the pan and peel off the foil.
- Cool completely and break into pieces.
